Enhanced Replacement Remote Control for Sharp TV/DVD GA480WJSB & GA480WJSA Review

Was very happy to find a working replacement for my TV. They had to send me a second one as the first one was defective, but something happens!

This remote worked right out of the box, no setup or programming required. This remote also runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included); The old remote used AA batteries. Great replacement!

Pressing a button is sent to the TV twice in most cases, making the remote very difficult to use. Navigation goes too far when double-tapping. A keystroke is often not registered at all. Obviously defective. I hope this is not a design issue. I am sending it back for exchange. I hope the new one works, otherwise I'll have to look for another brand. After previous unsuccessful attempts to find a remote control to control my decades old Sharp LC-19DV27UT TV/DVD combo, I didn't have high hopes for this one. When I opened the package and found no instructions, device codes, or documentation, I almost put it back together to send it back without even trying. I'm glad I didn't!
