Disappointing Heat Lamp for Reptiles

This heat lamp does not provide enough heat for my reptiles. As my tests showed, the temperature in my terrarium only increased by a few degrees, even after adjusting the distance and angle of the lamp. The only positive aspect is that it emits infrared, which can be beneficial for reptile health. However, overall, I would not recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable heat source for their reptiles.

Pros
  • Provides an essential heat source for reptiles and amphibians
Cons
  • May cause burns if not used properly

Very good lamp - heat lamps

Excellent product. Lots of warmth. I now have a 50 watt light bulb in a wire cage. but my chameleon doesn't like it. But for desert reptiles this is a great product and the price is cheap here in Revein. This is a good heat lamp but not for my pet who paints too much at night. But keep in mind in my case I have chameleon veils. Lots of warmth, use a mesh cage like the Repti Breeze.

Pros
  • Ideal for reptiles and amphibians - suitable for chickens, bearded dragons, turtles, tortoises, geckos, dogs, snakes (pythons, boas etc.), iguanas, lizards, chameleons, frogs, toads and many others.
Cons
  • Difficult to say

very hot! for reptiles & amphibians

So this bulb is much brighter and hotter than expected. I highly recommend monitoring the temperature in your pet's habitat with this light bulb. it was almost 120° oh! If I hadn't tested them it probably would have killed them as I'm a fairly new reptile owner and have never had this problem before so I would say this is a great product when handled properly but I had to Replace lamps immediately.

Pros
  • The perfect UVA lamp for your pets: UVA lamps mimic UVA rays in the natural light spectrum. This can provide a hot spot temperature for the reptile's environment.
Cons
  • Some problems
