Restorative Yoga Set: Tumaz Rectangular Bolster Pillow With Carry Handle & 8-Feet Strap + Machine Washable Cover Review

This is a lot smaller than I anticipated, but it's nice. I like to use it on a yoga mat for deeper stretches or reaches. Soft fabric, firm bolster. If you put your full weight on it, it collapses just a little, then pops right back up if you shift, so it's always catching your weight. Nice if you have balance issues. I let mine fluff up a full 24 hours before use and it was at max fluff.

This bolster is a total joke. Some buyers have had luck with it expanding after being compressed for shipment. I have not. It is two inches thick and has been that way for the last three days. Worst purchase I’ve made in a long time. I have contacted Tumaz two timesand have had no response whatsoever. Not impressed with them or their bolster.

I was so excited about adding this to my yoga practice that it was hard for me to wait the two full days for the product to reinflate. (It comes vacuum packed.) I was very eager for this item to be delivered especially after reading other reviews. I am a 500 RYT, and certified reflexologist who was super thrilled to find this deal. However, the one I received was highly stained by the burgundy more so Martin colored cover and the poorly sewn, torn and stuck pieces in the zipper as shown in pictures. It has not fluffed up after 36+ hours so I’m doubtful in the quality of the cushion as well. I’m not sure what to do as this is an odd an inconvenient item

I would like to mention that I am a beginner when it comes to yoga. Some of the moves can be a little difficult because I am not on "that” level yet. With that being said this yoga set is great for beginners it helps me modify several positions. Great for yoga or for extra support in bed. Comes vacuum sealed but expands quite large. Remove from vacuum seal and leave it sitting out for an hour or so and it will be ready to use!

The bolster came in compressed and it took 2 full days to finally get it decompress fully. It is very soft and comfortable and can be washed too. It really helped me with all my stretches. It is very sturdy and will definitely last long, so worth it!

If I were the manufacturer, just send them fully expanded. Waiting longer than 2 days is ridiculous. Looking at the reviews, the time it takes for these things to fully expand seem to be all over the board and severely lacks consistency. Not reliable at all.

When you unbox it, it will be origami folded to the thickness of a saltine cracker. Don’t worry - it will expand overnight into a usuable size. I got a pretty light blue color. The cover is soft, like a budget brushed suede. It isn’t a rectangle but isn’t round either, it’s a rectangle with rounded edges/corners. The filling is a type of foam and quite firm. It suits my purposes well.
