This chair definitely exceeded our expectations. It's not only comfortable, sleek, and stylish, but it's a lot larger than I pictured. We were going to use this for our living room but ended up putting it in our nursery. It's the perfect chair to curl up with a book and cuddle for a while. As many have already stated, the directions aren’t in plain English or easy to understand… I thank the one reviewer who said to first put the middle screw in the piece of wood that attaches the back of the chair to the chair’s seat. You have to wiggle it good to get the screw in (at least I did) but keep it somewhat loose so you can get the other 2 screws in. Don't buy this chair! I purchased a set of two chairs and one of the two arrived damaged. Not damaged en route: it had clearly been cracked, glued back together, and sent to me damaged. The glued area was coming apart, so I put in to return it. The seller won't provide a prepaid shipping label. USPS and UPS will charge over $200 to return a chair I paid $139.99. The reviews are true - this chair is a beast to assemble but the customer service is great. No. 1 tip: Start with the middle bolt. I spent a great deal of time trying to screw all three bolts in to connect the chair’s back to the seat. This is the very first step of assembly and can be difficult. Keep the first two bolts slightly loose so that the final bolt can be installed, then tighten all three. The chair is very sturdy and fairly comfortable, but it will take a lot of patience, some…

This chair was not easy to build. Packing was missing 12 spring washers, and one of the screw cover caps. I also had to use a shorter screw because there wasn’t the right amount of long screws. I worry about the sturdiness down the road. It does feel like a solid chair, let’s hope it stays that way. The color is a perfect gray. It’s also a great size chair and can fit most people comfortably. The cushion is a little stiff but not uncomfortable.
