Every Christmas I use zip ties to organize my light and extension cords. Every year I had to cut the old ties and then use the new ones. NO LONGER! These cable ties are very cool. They are wide, long and strong. But the best part, of course, is that they are reusable. It's nice to be able to adjust them easily, if you overtighten or deviate a little from where you intended it's very easy to fix. Plus, it's a bonus that I don't contribute as much to the plastic waste problem since I don't cut up and throw away a bunch of zip ties. Didn't know they made reusable ties. I've always used the cheap ones from Harbor Freight and cut them off when I was done with them. For putting chicken wire on livestock panels so I can let the chickens roam free and for many other purposes. So far I've only used 6 of the 10 inches (at least 15 times each) and none have broken. Added photos to show that they don't flatten out completely with prolonged stress, but also don't have any breaks or cracks. When I reuse them, they still work great!

I've used two different brands of "reusable" zip ties in the past and both came loose after being under moderate stress for an extended period of time. First of all I would like to say that I think this is a great product and intend to buy more if the need arises. Imo the reusability isn't as useful as the fact that you can loosen, adjust, and re-tighten. as opposed to cutting off the old ones and putting on the new ones (if they're regular ties).
