No stupid ledge at the end

I was trying to find a good size adjustable straw for my cups. I like wider straws but hate the feel of silicone straws and the harshness of metal straws. They're wide and don't have that stupid plastic tab on the end so I can slide them through the lid instead of sticking the straw in the lid. I also love bold colors, especially blue.

It's so helpful!

I have tried many smoothie straws and these are by far the best. They are translucent and very wide, making them easy to clean and the pieces never get stuck inside unlike thinner straws. What I like best is that they are reusable, which is much better for the environment than single-use straws. Super durable and easy to clean. I rinse them off and then put them in the cutlery basket in the dishwasher and they get shiny.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Expandable

Sand/Smooth Ends

They are great and have no ridge on the end so I can pop them in my mugs without removing the lids. However the ends are slightly rough as if cut with a hacksaw and NOT sanded/smoothed after cutting. I'm sure they weren't actually cut with a hacksaw, but I'm not sure how else to describe it. You can take a sharp knife or razor blade around the edges to clean them up a bit and then sand them down to "buff" them and make them smoother.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Check all straws for jagged edges

Pulling out the sample straw I found a really jagged edge that could cut my lip. After checking the remaining straws, I dropped 8 out of 15 straws for the same reason. All but a few of the remaining straws were torn, but not jagged. These things were very poorly carved by whatever machine they used. The only reason I'm not returning them is because the brush that came with them is great! The bristles are long enough to clean the sides of the bubble straws and all bristles are 3.5 inches long…

Pros
  • Disposable Drinkware
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Great price and great alternative to disposable straws

In our effort to replace the disposable plastic straws we've used before, we've tried disposable paper straws, reusable bamboo straws, silicone straws, and stainless steel straws and now and those hard plastic straws. These straws are winners in our home for a number of reasons. The width of these straws is ideal for smoothies but not too wide for regular drinks. They're as strong and comfortable as stainless steel straws, but stainless steel straws conduct heat so they quickly get very cold if

Works and no aftertaste. No bottom to actually poke through

The first thing I would like to say about this is that it is the same size as most bean straws except they are longer. I believe the length is quite large in case you get different size bean drinks. The straws are also made of a thicker material so you don't wear them out too quickly. It comes with a brush for you to easily clean the bean straws. These straws could easily pass pieces of fruit, beans, lychees and even pudding through the straw. You get several different straws, so you can easily
