Not the same a pictured or strong as once manufactured

These pads are not what they use to be when we first started Krav Maga. Its very obvious that they cut back on material and padding but are still charging the same price. Plus they ddon't feel as strong and sturdy as a year ago. I would search another manufacture and only buy these if there was no other option!

Pros
  • Great punch block / shield!!!!
Cons
  • The shield may not work for athletes of different sizes and heights, making it less versatile

Good quality pad. a bit pricy though

This is a good, sturdy tombstone pad. I got it for Krav Maga training based on my instructor's recommendation. He said he has been very happy with the 3lb tombstones, as compared to the old 6lb version, which is great because the heavier one isn't available from Revgear anymore. It's a little expensive for what it is but there are only a few rugged tombstone pads out there and they are all $100 or up. It's a very versatile pad that makes training much easier. The reason for the bevels is for…

Pros
  • I’m a Krav Maga instructor. This takes a beating and lasts.
Cons
  • The weight of the shield can make it difficult to maneuver during training sessions

Can't beat the original

Haven't found a trapezoidal pad that can stack up to the Revgear punch shield. They can take a serious beating for a very long time.

Pros
  • Martial Arts
Cons
  • The handles can be too short for some users, making it difficult to grip securely

Good tombstone but heavy so be aware.

Great quality tombstone as expected but there was no mention of it being weighted.Previous tombstones I've owned from Revgear where much lighter making them better for use by a variety of people. I teach self-defense to Teens so having tombstones that weight close to 10lbs is a bit of a hindrance.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The shield is bulky and difficult to store, taking up valuable space in a gym or training facility

Best punch shield in my review

I've used these punch shields (tombstones) in Krav Maga class, and they are great. They can be held against the chest to receive jabs, crosses, and hammerfists. They can be held to the side for hooks. They can be held downward for front kicks. They can be held at the back of the leg for round kicks. I don't recommend anyone trying any of this without instruction, but for home practice with a good partner, these pads are great. What I received from ebay was exactly what I had used in class.

Pros
  • Hand Targets & Focus Mitts
Cons
  • The bright color scheme may not appeal to all users who prefer a more traditional look

Revgear is the best for Tombstone pads

My Krav Maga gym used Revgear equipment all the time, and it's always been solid. So, I bought Revgear equipment for my home gym, too! Needs to be broken in, because it's brand new, but I know that these last a long time so I'm not worried about it.

Pros
  • ‎21.6 x 12.1 x 5.5 inches
Cons
  • It may not provide sufficient protection for advanced level training or competition
