As the owner of a head covered with thick curly hair, I have used a hair dryer more than once in my life. They all died on me after two or three years. I never had to get rid of it because it burned my hair and started melting. Until I bought this one. Yes, it melts and burns my hair. Luckily I have a lot of hair so the burnt strands won't be noticeable.

Broken a month after purchase. Very disappointed - loved the hair dryer when it worked 2 days ago; The inner cardboard material has separated from the edge and is now touching the spools. Now the dryer is getting too hot and I don't want to risk any more problems with it. Very disappointed that it broke 3 days after Revain's 30 day return policy. Now I have to try to contact the company. probably cheaper and less time consuming to just buy a new one.

I have been using this dryer model for many years as it is one of the few that has a diffuser. They last quite a few years and then suddenly die, but they weren't that expensive to begin with. This latest model gets very hot even on medium settings, so I'm less happy with it than before. It also has a cool setting, but it's actually COLD and not particularly useful except for final setting.

I have naturally curly hair (somewhere between 3a and 3b) and this dryer worked PERFECTLY with the diffuser! Curls have not dried out, everything is fine. I would rate this product a zero if I could! My daughter got this hair dryer for Christmas. The fuse blew the first time it was used and stopped working. She only used it for a few minutes.
