Patented, expensive, but sometimes necessary

Product works as described, but being a proprietary product, it is overpriced for what you get. Revo have chosen not to use standard BNC connectors on some of their DVRs, meaning you will need to purchase this item if you already have cameras with standard BNC connectors. After buying these two devices for over $24 I decided it wasn't worth converting 12 cameras into one Revo device or buying expensive Revo cameras. I returned the whole 16 channel system to Samsclub and bought a cheaper…

The RJ-BNC adapter saves time.

I bought these connectors to save myself the hassle of running and replacing all the old Cat3 cables from an old hotel security camera. The new Q-See system uses BNC and 1/4 inch power connectors. The adapters allowed me to connect the new cameras to my existing Cat3 cable and the Cat3 cables to the DVR. Works perfectly. You need to make an extra adapter to connect the camera power to this adapter because the bottom of the power port is the same as that of the camera. This is not a problem for…

Use your old RJ11 cameras

I have had an Exxis CCTV system for years but it has paid off. Exxis no longer makes the monitor. Exxis no longer exists. I had some cameras with RJ11 connectors, but my new system used RCA and BNC connectors. I called Mace Security Systems, the old company Exxis. Renamed and they said I can use these connectors and use my old Exxis/Mace cameras. Even Revo cameras if I have them. So I bought 3 as above and 3 with sound from Mace. They work like magic.
