I bought these for diamond painting because they have wax tips. If you paint with diamonds, you know how impractical it is to use a regular pen to drill, and AB drills pull the wax right out of your pen. I use these pins exclusively for AB drills and no more waxing problems!

They're great for what they are. I have used them for diamond painting, I have sparkling dots and they work great. I have slightly fat fingers so I fiddle around a bit but once I get the hang of them they are great!

I use these to place drill bits on my diamond paintings. They work great as I don't have to constantly fill regular drill pins with wax to make them sticky enough to pick up and place the drills. I take and place the drills with the wax cone, then set and secure with the metal end. My only complaint is that I wish the Wac didn't wear out so quickly. It's easier to use when it's at its sharpest. I have additional funds ready.

Pencils are cute and I love that they are double sided. The waxing is supplied as a screw and is subject to change and dulling with use. Big! However, one end of the drill is long and requires very little wax to load and use. Because it's thin, the wax runs out sooner than the included pens. For me it was a minus. If steel tips were thicker and shorter, they would be the perfect personalized pencil.
