I have no idea why folding rules have gone out of style. For measurements under 6 feet, this is a cut over tape measure, etc. You can easily use it by one person without having to deal with tape that curls, twists, doesn't measure the inside angle, and keeps trying to get it out of your hand . don't make them the way they used to be; It really is an excellent tool.
