Great project for thatched roof rack.

Strong brackets and lock nuts! I attached it to my $120 roof rack and it worked. Supplied with 2 U-hooks with longer steps for smaller hoses. Did a few road and off-road rides, it's solid!

Bought this to install my ARB awning on my Yakima.

Purchased to mount an ARB tarpaulin on a Yakima roof rack. Thanks to LJFJ above I got it working. It's cheaper than ARB braces here. I need to drill a new hole for the ARB and I also need large U-bolts for my Yakima handlebar.

Pros
  • Bike Rack
Cons
  • Available in white only

These are very strong and well made brackets! Ideal for tubular racks. Brackets have more holes than shown. If you look at my photos you will see that the top two holes (2" apart) are used, but the third hole (bottom) is not. Product images only show two holes 4 inches apart. I was ready to drill my own 2" hole, but by the time I got them, the Rhino Rack had already done it. Hey Rhino Rack, you'll sell a lot more if you update your product images and include the dimensions of the mount…

Bad quality control.

I've heard good things about Rhino Rack products, but this is how my canopy mounts were when they arrived in the factory sealed box. Someone went to the trouble of nicely wrapping and neatly packing the seemingly defective mount that is about an inch out of 90 degrees. Apparently it was made that way, as there are no markings on it to suggest someone yelled at it with a sledgehammer. Poor performance from who assembled it (a robot I think) and poor inspection from who packed it. I'm not a happy
