Perfect for grandchildren to brush their teeth in two minutes! I bought enough for each bathroom and in case of disappearance or breakage. You are exactly what I needed.

Only 4 timers out of 12 sets were semi accurate. 4 timers, the sand either didn't go through at all or started and stopped. These are of very poor quality. I've only needed a few timers so I'll only use the ones that work, but I won't be buying them again.

I bought these for my kids to use as a timer when they brush their teeth. You are about two minutes. If you buy them for this purpose, I don't think you will be disappointed. I have not timed them to see if they are completely correct as it is not necessary for this purpose. They seem strong enough, but when a kid breaks them, there's always a relapse.

Another poster is correct, these are inaccurate. But they are cheap and if you need about 2 minutes they will do. The fastest in my game was 1:40 and the slowest was 2:20. However, most of the herd was concentrated after about 2 minutes. If you just want a relatively short and consistent timekeeping device, they will work as long as you don't use them against each other. If you need accuracy, try a clock or digital timer. I've read many times that these timers are inaccurate, but unless you're doing an experiment that requires precision, they're great for various uses and places around the home, especially with kids. Well it works most of the time but none of it is accurate. They're usually fine, but sometimes I'll flip one and it stops halfway, and sometimes it won't start at all. I timed them all and found one or two that were within 20 seconds of the full 2 minutes. Everything is lower or higher.
