Nice big finishing brush

It takes a bit of practice to use a big finishing brush (main thing after dipping is scraping all the paint off the sides so the paint is just in the brush ). But a larger brush gives a smoother surface and covers a larger area, so it's worth learning how to use. This brush has fairly soft bristles and you can cut a nice line with it. Shorter brushes make it harder to get straight lines...longer bristles absorb some of the tremor in the brushstroke. I haven't even tried putting it on a pole and

Now forever in my brush arsenal.

What can I say. It's now a staple in my arsenal. I'm a union decorator. I do all the fancy painting work in old theatres, capitals, cathedrals etc. Sometimes there are things that are very difficult to come by where scaffolding just won't fit. When I used this in Kalamazoo, Michigan on a canopy I had forged in Carrara, there was an area on the roof that just wasn't accessible. That helped. Attempts to visit with the heavy metal brush clip were too talkative for me. Converts this into a…

This brush is an ingenious invention!

I have used this brush to paint hard to reach areas around my house and it has saved me so much time! I angled my brush at just the right angle and the extension allowed me to paint under the eaves without having to climb the stairs. I've used it in several places this summer including the area at the top of my roof and I can't believe it took me so long to find a brush like this. It has held up well and looks like it should last a long time. Cleanup takes a while, as with any brush that holds…

The best tool for dusting skirting boards!

I've always known how well a brush cleans baseboards. Fine bristles get into cracks and crevices where dust likes to hide, but it's tough on your back and knees to manually clean them. Until I found this brush that tilted the handle and attached to an extension, cleaning baseboards wasn't an easy task! My husband had to laugh at me because I walked around the house with this brush and said "I LOVE IT!" while cleaning the baseboards. It does a great job with the beveled areas of our doors too…

The best brush I've ever used!

Ignore those who complain about the bristles being soft! The soft bristles make it possible. I could fall easily. I've never been good at that. It simply glides across the surface leaving a perfectly straight line. The bristles feel like soft nylon material. I don't have the sturdiest hand for my age so it was difficult to use at height but I figured it out after a while. The flexing aspect gives you complete control over the angle of attack when it is at the end of the bar. This process takes…
