🍷 Riedel Ouverture White Wine Glass, Pack of 6 Review

I have been using Riedel Ouverture wine glasses for many years. These are my favorite wine glasses. Simple design and affordability are the reasons I keep them on my desk.

These glasses looked ridiculously small compared to my other Riedel glasses. I also found a set of 4 in the store for half the price of this set of 6. More like a dessert wine

Pay attention to the reviews. It's a SMALL glass. I've been looking for something in between the big long stem version and this version which I believe is from Germany but unfortunately I can't find it. Returned. I will look for it. Or stop drinking wine.

Our 8 year old Riedels are a bit cloudy because they are washed in the dishwasher. We have reordered the Riedels because they are excellent quality and beautiful. The edges are cropped, not crimped like the cheaper glasses. The glass is crystal clear and our Riedel wine tastes even better.

Forget those trendy glasses with pretentiously long stems and narrow cups. These are absolutely perfect glasses; perfectly scaled and proportioned, with just the right capacity and thin enough when it counts. I immediately ordered another set; glasses that are so well made and so unpretentious are rare.

We were so pleased with our previous purchase of these lenses that we bought them again so we have a set of 12 lenses. The quality of the glasses is excellent. The rims are perfect for sipping and make a "special" sound when we raise our glasses to celebrate good wine and good friends. They go well in the dishwasher and stay stain free.

We've been using these particular wine glasses for years and I always have spares in case something breaks. These are glasses labeled "white wine" but we use them every day for any type of wine. I particularly like that they hold a reasonable glass of wine and not a quarter bottle like some glasses. These glasses are beautiful, easy to clean in the dishwasher and feel good in your hand.

Riedel is one of the best wine glasses. The price is fair and the quality is excellent. Each glass is light, with a thin rim, there are no ripples and strange lines anywhere. I make about 300 bottles of wine a year and use a Riedel to serve my wine. Great feel, look and shape. I like the glasses (I ordered from Revain a year ago) so I ordered them again. Unfortunately they arrived broken. I returned them and received the loan immediately. While I still want the glasses, I don't want to order them again because Revain prohibits customers who make "too many" returns (reported in The Wall Street Journal, May 23, 2018). If they arrive broken again due to private internal policy, I could be banned as a Revain customer if I send them back.
