Description of ๐ŸŒˆ Revive Your Wardrobe with Rit DyeMore Liquid Dye: Tropical Teal Delivers Vibrant Results!

Dye synthetic fabric and fabric blends, which include anything with 35% or more polyester, acrylic, acetate or nylon. Perfect for rejuvenating faded clothing, upcycling, hiding laundry accidents and so much more. With 250+ color recipes available on Ritโ€™s website, it is almost certain youโ€™ll find the right color for your needs. Due to the complexity of dyeing synthetic fabrics, you must use this dye in a stainless-steel pot on your stove top to maintain a high-water temperature throughout the duration of dyeing. Cannot be used in a washing machine. If dyeing fabric with less than 35% synthetic fabric (i. e. polyester, acrylic or acetate), use Rit All-Purpose Dye instead

Worst Color Ever - my new review

I purchased this dye for an arts and crafts project, hoping to achieve a vibrant tropical hue. Unfortunately, the color turned out to be a muddy mess, completely opposite of what was advertised. The only pro is that it did manage to dye the fabric adequately. However, the unfortunate con is that the final result was far below my expectations. I do not recommend this product for any fabric decorating project, as it is a waste of time and money.

Pros
  • Intense and vibrant color payoff for synthetic fabrics
Cons
  • May require extra care when washing to prevent dye bleeding or fading

It worked VERY well!

I have 3 expensive sets of riding underwear that come in rather ugly or very faded colors. So far I've painted two of them, one navy blue and the other turquoise. They took the color so well! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't paint them so dark. Brighter than both would have been even better, but little was always left of the previous experience with dyes. I used salt and vinegar on both, don't know if that's why it colored so well. Now I can wear t-shirts in the same color and notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dyeing of synthetic and blended fabrics, including any fabric containing 35% or more polyester, acrylic, acetate or nylon. Ideal for refreshing faded clothing, recycling, hiding wash marks and more.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options.

Follow the instructions!

I enjoyed using this product. The outdoor patio cushions were sun bleached and I didn't want to spend hundreds on new cushions. I had to buy a large 20 liter pot and 4 bottles of dye to complete this project. I have polyester pillows so the instructions are much more extensive (as with all synthetic fabrics). I spent about 3.5 hours painting and 40-45 minutes cooking each kit/bottle of paint, which I felt wasn't enough. I should have let it sit longer. I also didn't have a thermometer to see if

Pros
  • When dyeing fabrics with less than 35% synthetic (ie polyester, acrylic or acetate) use Rit All Purpose Dye instead
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
