I have 3 expensive sets of riding underwear that come in rather ugly or very faded colors. So far I've painted two of them, one navy blue and the other turquoise. They took the color so well! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't paint them so dark. Brighter than both would have been even better, but little was always left of the previous experience with dyes.
