Good quality fork and worthy upgrade

Although heavier than a full carbon fork, the Ritchey Comp is a great choice for upgrading an old fork and is relatively inexpensive. After upgrading the road bike, I noticed the ride was much smoother. and the fork works very well. She looks good too! Update: Ten seasons, about 30,000 miles and this fork still works great, great handling and road damping on my vintage Ti bike.

Good quality fork. Big buy and strong.

The fork is good. Steering made a little sharper. Went to tune true midrange temperament. Absorbs a bit of vibration but sometimes feels like riding a rock. I didn't notice any bending. Lost 14 ounces of weight with the stringless setup. Looks cool except for the big white logos. The only bad thing is Richie's customer service. I think they drive all day and are too busy for you. Also, only shorten the head tube when you are sure of the riding comfort.

Pros
  • Forks
Cons
  • Update possibility
