Solid fabric for kitchen and table linen

I was glad I found these to replace mines that were made long ago by another manufacturer who no longer makes them but as soon as I brought them home got , I understood that there are seams on one side that you need to put your thumb in. So you have to make sure it's turned the right way to get your thumb and the rest of your fingers on the other side, which is quite a hassle when you're trying to rush and get something out of the oven. Unfortunately not a good replacement for the Le Creuset pads

Tried to find quality, small finger pads like the discontinued Le Creuset that fit both. My smaller hands and my husband's large hands fit perfectly, but they are too thick, too big, too stiff and too bulky for the purpose. They can be great for other purposes, but not as really hot finger pads. It's hard to understand why nobody can keep up with them and obviously I'm not the only one chasing them. I still have a few pairs that we guard carefully, these are the ones we reach for constantly…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Some minor issues

I have very small hands and these are perfect. They snap on and off with ease, but won't slip off when you're working with a hot/frozen dish. There is less space for the thumb than on the other side. They will shrink and fade, so be careful when cleaning them. Found them at a local store and had to order them because I'm temporarily out of town and realized I can't cook well without them. That's how much they are part of my culinary "dance". Anyone who cooks knows that cooking becomes a dance…
