RK 3953 Intake System Harley Davidson Review

Looks old school. Set this to 2015 flstc . It feels like air is being sucked in through the filter. The Vance Hines exhaust seems to help with downshifts and tail pop when you let off the gas pedal. Stands up.

This product arrived in perfect condition, easy to follow instructions (should have common sense). FT. pounds TQ and +7 hp. Very satisfied with the product.

I love the look of the hot rod. The large filter lets through a ton of air. The sound turns into a nice deep gurgle and complements the performance of the engine very well. Be sure to tune the bike after installation. Installation was easy and the instructions are correct.

Don't buy this! I heard bad things about K&N being a rip off but I went ahead and bought it. This is rubbish, customer support took two weeks to reply to the email and couldn't even get it right. I called 800 for a defective hardware replacement and received a large box with a loose screw (singular). There might have been more, but who knows, they were just thrown into an 8" x 8" x 6" box with no packaging. $145 for failure and disappointment. I will never give them another chance.

So a very good air intake at a great price. All components are well made and fit together well. I work as a mechanic and I can say that this is top class. The cover is particularly good. Easy to install if you have basic mechanical skills and the right parts are included (I did fine). I've definitely noticed a significant boost in performance over the stock filter and even AN Stage 1. Unfortunately, it is very large and hits my calf directly with my fit.
