Long lasting ignition parts

We bought this to replace the power cord we bought for our previous motorhome. This cord is durable and well made. The previous cable lasted 15 years. We can connect and disconnect with ease, but the cable connection is made in such a way that it won't come loose on its own.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Quality

The cables are connected to the wrong pins

The 7-pin connector that is connected to the motorhome has been connected completely incorrectly. Found this after tracing all the wires in the towed vehicle. I had to disassemble the 7-pin connector, remove all the silicone, and reconnect the wires to their appropriate sockets. Luckily the Roadmaster had a diagram on the back of the box showing how the cables should be installed. All in all, it took about three hours to find the error and fix what should have been an easy install.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Operating speed

What We Need Best About Ignition Parts

I've been using 7-4 coil wire 'made' by the folks who installed my Blue Ox for the past five years. I don't think it ever worked properly and after several attempts to fix it I decided to look for a new one. I expected to pay more for a good one and was pleasantly surprised to find a lower price on this one. This fits snugly into the socket on the Van and Jeep and the tab at the top allows the socket cover to hold it in place unlike what we had which never fitted properly. So far I'm very happy
