It's great because they don't drag the floor. I actually sent them back because the cables that came with my Etrailer hitch worked pretty well.

Ready to install trailer tether kit at a great price. Good quality with a durable finish. Hopefully you never have to test them to make towing less worrying.

Very good tether, but I wish the hooks were a little bigger. It is very difficult to attach them to a car receiver because the hooks are barely enough. Otherwise very happy with the security cable.

At least 1 foot shorter, recommend buying 10,000# capacity, maybe works better. Next time I'll look for a better one at a better price. In the meantime I will continue to use my old blue bull which I had to buy primarily from the same brand.

There is a connection on one end with a nut that needs to be tightened. I just bought a hook and attached it to the end to make it quicker and easier. Also, these things never flatten out. They go back to spring every time you remove them, which is pretty annoying and a good thing.

Works well, no complaints except when it's time to install or remove them. A hook at both ends of the cord would be very desirable. Sometimes the nut gets stuck on the chain link and I have to look for a tool to remove the cable. It's not great when I'm in a hurry to get the van out of the way and park.

Good product for the money. Remember that if the cables are really intended to save the towed vehicle, they cannot be reused as the hooks will stretch. The first set I ordered was too short and I think the hooks stretched during turns. Added extensions and everything is fine, but you need to get rid of them if you want them to do their job.

This is my third set of coiled Roadmaster safety cables in 21 years and 180,000 miles of towing my car. Sometimes I damage the cable by not securing the cables properly unless I tow my car and let them tow on the street. When I damaged the safety cables I decided to replace them for safety reasons. If I hadn't been careless I would still use my original set of tether straps as I've never seen any wear and tear with proper care.

Perfect for transporting my 05ft TJ behind my Ford Excursion. Used factory Class 4 Excursion hitch safety loops for the threaded chain link ends and opposite end of the cables (hook ends) easily fit into the E-trailer/Curt front hitch receiver loops mounted on the front bumper.
