Black RoadPro RPO-24DT Over-The-Wheel Desktop Review

I work in LE and use this for all paperwork I need to fill out outside - works great and can be easily tossed aside when needed. Didn't press hard enough to make it beep, so no problem there either. Fits 2016 Ford Explorer/Interceptor.

I had no idea that such a simple piece of plastic could be so useful. I use this to study in the parking lot before going to the hospital to get my clinical patient. I also use it when I'm in the store to make a shopping list. I put a tablet on it, I watch a video. It's just so convenient and practical.

I'm glad I bought it. Great for writing, for holding my laptop and good for photographing documents with my phone as it contrasts with white pages and allows my phone's scanning software to just focus on the paper and nothing else. The only downside was that I had to hand over the pen to use it.

In my truck (semi-trailer) I need a job in my seat. This one holds tight, the fold at the bottom ensures nothing falls, the clip at the top holds the paper at multiple angles, what is useful for writing. This product is as advertised. The top edges of the clip don't go all the way behind my Honda Pilot's handlebars, but they are enough to hold it in place. Then the work area is fairly straight up and down, with a slight angle. So when you put your laptop down, you print horizontally, which is fine. You can put something under the bottom edge to reduce the vertical angle (or if the handlebar angle is large, the vertical angle can be smaller). This is a good product and I'm glad I bought it. I had a mount for my laptop that I use a lot in the truck that was mounted on the passenger seat. This laptop mount took up a lot of space and wobbled a lot while driving. The contrast here is that I can store my laptop on this stand and put everything in the back seat while driving, and it doesn't take up much space in front of my truck. It's very convenient, simple and much cheaper than other laptop holders. I work in an oil field, most people use that, I should have bought that first.

I am UBER Diamond Driver. I ordered this Revain recommendation as a top item, especially while waiting at the airport for paperwork, reading, using my iPad, etc. If you're looking for a simple interface for documents on the go, book reading, etc. It will get the job done, but for $20 I was expecting a little more.
