I installed this on the underside of the tailgate on my pickup truck so I have power in case I want/need to inflate the rear tires or what I need power for. I've used it a few times so far and it's worked as it should. Seems pretty tight. I would recommend it. I like it = 4 stars = yes I like it = 5 stars = seriously, this is an outlet to love so much

This is a low tech 12v socket that came installed in my hunting trailer along with a solar/battery pack . System. This is coupled to a small inverter, the combination allows me to run whatever I want on either 12V DC or 120V AC (subject to inverter limitations of course). The price was very reasonable, the socket still works perfectly, it was easy to install and well made. The price was very reasonable too.

This socket is ideal for those who want to adapt it to their motorcycle. It came exactly as it looks in the picture and I couldn't be happier with the quality and delivery time. Easy assembly with flat plastic bracket. The spring-loaded lip is surprisingly strong and snug. I've found that if you put it on a bike that we all know vibrates, a little extra pressure on what you're connecting will keep it from pulling back and causing a false connection. Firstly the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because I'm not sure how well sealed it is, where the wires come in the back and it hasn't been submerged yet. I installed it under my truck's rear bumper as an extra outlet for small air compressors etc. Sometimes when launching or lifting the boat it can get wet and then we will see if this was the right place for it. I thought this was exactly what I was looking for and ordered 3 of these for my camper van. I installed the first and part of the second installation, I tested them before screwing and fixing the wire. It didn't work so I tested the first one and it didn't work either. I replaced the 2nd with the 3rd and that didn't work either. I used correct polarity as instructed.
