We got this just in time to take with us on our van trip. This is the perfect size for two to four people. Two if you want to stay the next night, four if you don't want to stay. I suggest putting a hot silicone pad underneath as the little feet melted the waffle texture foam pad we had underneath (which wasn't silicone). Now that I've been using it for over a year, I don't really like it anymore. My biggest complaint is that it only has 2 settings, on or off. "On" gets too hot for me in the summer when I want to cook something slowly for 5 hours, but instead it's ready in 1-1.5 hours. The fusible link in the pot broke recently which is disappointing.
