The TIF Programmable Charging/Recovery Meter allows automatic charging or recovery operations in a compact, completely portable, battery powered design with a full 220 pound or 100 kilogram capacity. Three display modes - lbs./oz. decimal lbs.and kilograms; high resolution - 0.2 oz. .010 lbs. and 4 grams; accuracy +/- 0.5%. Advanced charge and recovery modes - uses tare weight and maximum capacity of cylinder to calculate maximum charge/recovery available. User programmable memory for up to 99 different stored values; 'repeat' charge feature; can be used with all refrigerants. Features: 30 hr battery life, 500 PSI max. solenoid operating pressure, 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C) operating temp, 1/4 inch MFL inlet/outlet ports with 1/2 inch ACME adapters, and blow molded case.

Does not work: tools and equipment

I bought this counter in January. That does not work. I called support and they gave me a different number. They keep telling me to call somewhere else. Finally I call production, they say Amazon is calling. I wasted my day Now this tool is just garbage for me.

I've had this programmable TIF 9055 charge/recovery meter for a number of years now and find it very accurate, but I don't really use all of the extra features it has so often. , so I will use my TIF 9010A more often. However, if you need to auto-recover for some reason, preventing the recovery cylinder from overflowing can help. You can also program it to measure a specific amount of refrigerant flow.
