This is not for children. Remember when you were a kid and built model planes and cars? Well here we go again. After building this (it took,on and off, about 2 weeks) I bought the motorcycle, and the Train Engine came in the mail today. These puzzles will this old mans brain synapses sparking for some time.

LOVE this thing. Very fun to build and the fact that it actually works is so cool. And it’s a nice piece of art to just look at.Precision and design is first rate. You need nimble fingers and a good eye for following picture directions. Highly recommend

My engineer husband had a wonderful time working on this. It took him about a week to finish, and he absolutely loved it. The pieces fit together perfectly, and the instructions were detailed and clear. Would definitely recommend this product!

one of the parts is cracked on the board. and I had to use wood glue to do a diy repair, which hurts the complete look.took 2 stars off for that

I 've been building kits for years. It was stated that it goes together, stays. I used a glue gun to keep it together.I love building kits, but I could not figure how to complete, so I'm sending it back. Did anyone build this kit?i'm still going to buy other kits that go together with good instructions. (Drawing don't show how to build kit.Needs work instruction and drawing wise. Thank your kits, which most look like fun.

I think its funny that one of the features the review asks you to rate is "easy to assemble". I purchased this because it is precisely not easy to assemble, but is very challenging. I enjoyed every second of it! I put it together a little at a time and it took about a week. I didn't want to try all at one time because I wanted to enjoy it and take my time. I tasked my 5-year old with helping me find and hand me certain pieces, although in general this is definitely not suitable for a child…

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas, but when I received delivery of it, it was so beautiful and looked like so much fun to build that I may have to order one for myself. It is not a project for a young child however, fairly complicated.

I purchased this for my 88 year old father to occupy his time during the cold winter days; actually, this train was his 3D wooden puzzle. He absolutely loved putting each one of them together. I’ll treasure them always. Now, to select the next one.

Bought this for my 10 year old son. He has been able to follow the directions and assemble with little difficulty. He is really enjoying the project and very proud of his accomplishment. Was well worth the money!

Father in law who was avid train buff loved the model. Very sturdy, he loved that he had to think while putting it together as it was a very meticulous build.

This puzzle is one of my favorites but it was a bit more challenging than some others. I love that it actually plays a short silent film clip by generating enough electricity to power a small light diode. Very beautiful when complete.

Got this for my mom to build as a littleHobby and she really enjoyed building it. She did do something wrong and it does not work, but looks really cool.

If you want a project this is one for you. I gave it to my dad for Christmas he loves model airplanes and trains and said this is one of a kind, it's pretty easy to get pieces out you make your own tools. It's a bit on the frustrating side if you dont have patience to build

This was a Christmas gift for my father. It was by far his favorite. He started putting it together that night and had it done within a few days. He took it to work to show everyone. We are so glad he loves it so much.

I enjoyed putting this together. Take your time and be sure to understand the direction pictures (there is no text). I would recommend.

This is a wonderful project! It comes with excellent instructions and is challenging enough to make it fun. Take your time, sand the rough edges and this project will run smoothly once finished. Great for the entire family, helps to teach children how to follow directions and how they can use their hands to build something they will be proud of once completed. Recommend this project and all Robotime projects.
