My hockey son loves these inline skates. They're easy enough for him to put on himself, and they give him the feel of the skates he likes to wear to skate around the neighborhood and keep his feet in shape. Wheels, bearings and dusters seem to be holding up very well, and this is a fairly common wheel size that shouldn't be difficult to replace.

These are the highest quality skates I can find for my daughter (4 year old) right now that really fit and it's no joke. However, they appear to be of significantly lower quality than the 3.0 version my eldest daughter received a few years ago. The straps slip under tension and the tongue is too tight, slipping out of the shoe and requiring occasional stops to readjust, while the 3.0 is still solid after a couple of years.

Before that we tried some of the best we could find at ToysRU and he got used to it but he needed help. As soon as we got Roses he was able to roll down the corridor, turn around and stop immediately.
