Now I like to ride in cold weather.

I'm amazed at how warm my hands are in these mittens. They extended my ski season below zero. Two things I always struggled with in cold weather were keeping my fingers and toes warm. I now use platform pedals with toe boots and these hand gloves. I used to wear clunky snowmobile gloves, and even then my fingers got cold after an hour. With these gloves I now wear my full finger mountain bike gloves and have improved my shifting and braking dexterity. I have no problem saying "highly…

A no-brainer for mountain bikes below freezing

Used today, first time with pogies Installed in minutes It was 30 degrees. even remotely "cool", not to mention the cold. They work great! So nice to have normal access to the cockpit/rudder. To be honest, for the price and the amount of winter rides I do, I could buy a new pair every year and they would still be worth every penny. I don't expect that to be the case, but the build quality seems very solid. I wish I had had something like this a few years ago. Highly recommended.

love heat good for parts and components

good I bought this for my Fattie because I love warm hands and my oversized BarMitt Signature Mittens easily endure them. When you're driving through the woods and you have to "Farm Strike" and then get your hand back on the wheel, my old mittens were a problem. However, they have a larger opening and make it much easier. Due to the double thermal layer, they are also slightly warmer. They're bigger and bulkier, but I take that as extra warmth on those 15-degree days that I seem to be riding…

Very warm, spacious, wind and waterproof.

very warm. I've had bar gloves for years and have used them on my winter commute. This is an improvement on this design. Instead of neoprene, these pogies feature a waterproof and windproof outer shell and a removable insulating inner shell. I can ride with just an outer jacket and no gloves in temperatures as low as 23F. Unlike a zipper, which can become clogged with salt or dirt from a wet street, this product's design is a breeze. The wheels are very spacious to accommodate trigger switches,

I wanted to like them, but they're just not that good.

I have some problems with them. The biggest problem is that they are not that warm. My hands got cold after riding in medium sized gloves and these for about an hour in 30F. They're thick and fluffy and look like they should be warm, but I've tried them a few times and they're no warmer than my unlined ones that I bought from Revain: https://www.amazon.com/gp /product/ B077SY7J6F/ ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Aside from not being warm, they are also very loose on the…

My hands are a worm! - Cycling

I misspelled the title and couldn't help but leave it that way. I cycle 7-9 miles one way. I rode them on windy days with frost. Bar covers are the difference between happiness and misery. yes they are bulky But they are easy to turn on and off. I can use them on the way home in the morning, but I take them off and put them in my bag on the way home when it's too warm to use. They work very well. Even on the coldest days I found it comfortable to wear regular cycling gloves underneath or none…

Compared to other brands.

Update #1 (pre-freeze): Ordered handlebar gloves from this brand and another. They were much thicker and presumably warmer than the other product (which was neoprene, presumably fleece lined although it didn't look like it, and also marketed as "extremely cold"). They fitted my bars fairly easily with the bar ends still installed (surprise) and very tight (unlike another brand which would have left fairly large gaps for cold air to flow through). Two downsides. First, there are no vents to open

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Not sure
