UPDATE: Good pedals "until" you hit a rock, which is what eventually happens. The picture speaks for itself. Too bad because they look good, but you need a secure pedal. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I installed them and they look great and seem to be durable. If there are problems, I will provide an update

I didn't know what to expect from these pedals when I ordered them for my mountain bike. They were very easy to install, looked amazing and really helped keep your shoes from slipping off the pedal. They're a little bigger than I expected, but I'm very happy with how they feel and perform.

I bought these pedals for mountain biking and they seemed like a good choice considering I've only used a few of them. I was riding down the road this weekend and the bearings in the pedals started rattling and popping. I've never broken a pair of pedals so quickly. I have never used them for riding. If they couldn't handle street riding, they definitely couldn't handle trail riding.

I was very excited to try these pedals. I read the reviews and thought it would last for more than one season. However, my first ride with these pedals didn't go so well. They worked great for the first half of my ride, but when I bottomed out on my bike, the pedals hit rocks and it buckled quite a bit. I've ridden the plastic flat pedals that came with the bike without damaging them, so I expected the upgrade to take a lot more than one ride.

These pedals were a fantastic upgrade from the flimsy plastic pedals I had on my fat tire bike. A wider pedal with metal spikes provides a secure footing and confidence your foot won't slip when you're riding hard. The functionality of the pedal is excellent for the price. BUT be careful with the color. The black and blue image is definitely turned off. Blue looks more like turquoise than dark blue. So if you try to match a color, your results will vary.

This is my second pair of pedals and I have absolutely no complaints. I have a pair on a hardtail and a pair on an FS mountain bike. They are very well built and can withstand moderate jumps and abuse without affecting their performance. They hold up well for being flat. I recommend these pedals. ***Update*** 5/27/19 rode hard and made some decent jumps. In the end the right pedal was bent. Recommend them for light use though and they look great but if you work hard and are looking for the best

I liked these pedals when they worked, unfortunately they broke very easily. I bought her on 5/18/18 and her last ride was on 6/24/18. I lost a propeller and didn't think about taking an extra one while driving. it was only on the way back to my car that the pedals bent and came loose, and after the first bolt fell out, two more were lost and one broke.
