🚲 ROCK BROS Waterproof Carbon Leather Bike Rack Bag - Versatile Trunk Pannier for Rear Cargo Storage Review

At first I liked the bag. It holds a lot of things and is easy to expand. However, after two weeks of use, the straps on the rear bottle cage broke. I forgave that. Having the bottle on the back of the bike probably wasn't a good idea because that's the part of the bike that bounces the most. Then, three months later, one of the straps attaching the bag to the rack broke (the stitching came undone). For $110 I expect it to last more than three months!

The bag is big enough for a lot of gear. The padded interior and removable Velcro dividers allowed me to keep my cold water bottle and Body Armor drink cool and separate from my wallet, keys, and other belongings. This bike rack easily attaches to almost any rear bike rack. Multiple Velcro straps keep it securely in place. I like that the baskets are removed when not needed. You have enough space to stow the essentials for a trip or short commutes to work. I used it to ride a very rough trail and it stayed secure and the items inside were properly protected. It comes with a rain cover that glows green for high visibility. Haven't tried it in the rain yet so I really don't know how waterproof it is.

I bought it on February 14th, 2020 and I liked it at first but now I see that the edges are unraveling making it difficult to use the zipper. Seriously, after 5 months of storage in a climate controlled basement, a product with such high ratings and value should be more durable. If not, I would highly recommend purchasing this bag. This shelf looks and feels very high quality. Doesn't sit too high and is optimized for my specific bike. The light on my seat is clearly visible above the trunk (see photo). Plenty of room for my gear and groceries with baskets. I'm amazed at how light it is, how strong and durable it is. This bag is quite good, I like its portability. I have a problem, the zipper on one of the side panels broke after a few weeks, Rockbros did a great job and immediately sent a new bag. They really need to improve the design of the zip and also when the side pockets are taken out the reflective strip is vertical and covered in fabric as is the bungee cord (if used). I have to use a bungee cord system as this bag is not compatible with my bike rack. My luggage rack has a hard bottom so the velcro
