They work and are better than many other alternatives, but your table can rock just using them; They don't snap tight enough to not wobble a bit. Good for my application, this is a surface that is attached to the wall on one side (this is how the wall stabilizes).

Advantages: Very strong fastener. Used on special van conversion tables around the kitchen sink. Was sturdy and strong enough to only use one per table where the other end of the table was hinged to the kitchen sink cabinet. It is very easy to slide your foot into the locking position and unlock to fold the table. Disadvantages: currently none. Worked great for my application.

I was commissioned to make a folding bench for my sister in law. I needed the legs to fold and these brackets fill the bill. I used a fairly heavy solid core door, a full length piano hinge on the inside, and these leg brackets. Very strong with this arrangement. I've seen other reviewers give them a bad rating for not being sturdy enough, but they are not intended to be standalone table legs.

Feet too shaky! It's not my skill either, the mount locks into place, but there's quite a bit of range of motion in the locked position. My legs were only 26.5 inches long so not too long. I suppose the longer the leg the less stability so this mount could work on a half decent coffee table but no more than that. Too bad I didn't start my project sooner so I could return it.

Excellent foldable desk mount with one side that rests against the wall. I doubt these mounts will fit on a free standing table, they don't have enough support to resist side to side movement. The locking mechanism is more than adequate for this application. Installation was easy and hassle free. The disguise looks nice, but it's not really visible most of the time unless you look closely.
