Rockport Spruce Blucher Walking Shoes in Mustard: Style and Comfort for All-Day Adventures Review

Multidimensional shoes/sneakers that are extremely durable. After reading some of the reviews I really didn't know what to expect. I'm definitely glad I took the risk of buying these shoes. The first thing that struck me is the solid reinforcement inside the shoe which offers great support and comfort. This gives the feeling that your legs are comfortably hugged, like wearing a nice glove. Very comfortable shoes for walking and exercising.

Here the quality is not used to ordering two different models in width. These are the right size but squeeze the sides of my legs, the other pair is quite roomy but two sizes too big.

These shoes look great but like others have said. they have high heels. It felt like my heel was 1/2 inch above my toes. So bad design leads to many returns and a loss of money for Rockport. I do not recommend this shoe!

I walk about 3-5 miles a day and had to change out my worn out Saucony shoes. Decided to try this shoe. Mistake. These shoes have a very stiff sole and are heavy. When walking, the heel slides up and down the back of the shoe. I've tried tightening the laces on my boots but it's difficult and inefficient. I've ridden the boots about 20 miles and they haven't "shrunk in". I'm wearing my old shoes again and they have found a place in my closet. They are heavy and tough. you have been warned

These are my first Rockport shoes. They fit great and the quality for the price is great. Although I've only had them for a few weeks, I've just ordered a second pair.

As for the shoes, they are very well constructed, sturdy but for me they are too stiff and a bit heavy. I bought these looking for more support and they give, but to work in them all day I had to opt for more running shoes. I imagine they are very good for what they were designed for which is being awake in nature. Maybe my next vacation is in Moab, Utah.

The shoes were good, well made, typical Rockport. Nice and light. If that is what you are looking for, then this is the perfect option. But it's a lot bigger and heavier than it appears. Returned.

Very uncomfortable shoes. I like to wear the Rockport as a casual business shoe and it's very comfortable. I put on a shoe and put it down thinking I'd come back. After a few hours I decided to try one of the shoes on again but it was so uncomfortable that I put them in a box and started the return process. I bought them with the intention of running the South Rim Loop Trail in Big Bend NP, but I wouldn't even run them around my neighborhood. I'd be in terrible shape if I was into these things.

The heel insole is very thick and makes the shoe walk as if the heel is 2 inches high. Very uncomfortable to walk in shoes. Shoe has very good quality, construction, and comfort. Took away a star for the slippery sole.!

So it must be hiking shoes. Yes it is supportive and has a good outsole and seems to be wearing down well after repeated walks of several miles. However, this shoe is very stiff on my feet. There doesn't seem to be much padding. I changed the insoles, it helped, but it's still like walking on concrete. Also, these shoes are very heavy. You know you have a pair of shoes when you put them on. Nice style and appears to be well made.

Rockport never fails. These shoes are comfortable and fit great. I put them on right out of the box and walked the dog. I highly recommend them.

They don't match other Rockport shoes I've had, they are loose in the heel and too tight in the toe box just above the bottom lace. It's not because they aren't wide enough, it's because the shoe is too low in that area. Also, thanks to the "waterproof" design, these shoes don't breathe at all and my feet get VERY hot from everyday walking; I couldn't imagine doing anything sporty or outdoor in it. They are also heavier than they look.

I ordered a size 12 wide as other shoes I wear in a size 12 seem a bit narrow to me. I was expecting more room in the toes, which is what it was. However, the shoes were also wide with heels. I had to apply two different types of heel grips to take up the extra space. The laces are also terrible - too slippery. I've been wearing size 13W Rockport shoes for almost 20 years, both for business and leisure. These shoes fit, but not as well as any other Rockports I've had. Sometimes I feel like I can step out of these shoes. For example, if I walked through the mud, they would peel off (haven't tried it yet, it just seems).

These shoes look like they have been worn before, they are toenail shaped and very wide, especially since I wanted to cut them with the same wide laces. upset. I returned them the same day they arrived. What a waste of time for everyone, they should have more heat control

I'm a tall guy, 6ft 4in and 280# so I bought these to replace my NB hiking shoes. I bought them to go to the gym every night and they are so comfortable I sometimes wear them all day. They look good, I've even worn them to church a few times. I often get compliments. would recommend.

Sometimes it seems that the laces on the shoes don't hold up, but that can be user error. Otherwise I would buy again. They were a present for my father.
