The cable looks good and has good insulation around it but cannot handle a continuous load of 30 amps. I've been using it to charge auxiliary batteries in the back of my van at 30 amps (about 4 hours straight) and the copper on the inside has been spoiled by the heat (would heat all the wire outside to 120F). The wire got hotter and hotter as the copper was mined - eventually it started smoking and I had to change it to 4 gauge.
