I use a bike mount damper on my 2010 Custom Stumpjumper Comp 29r and it works great. The shock is way better than the Stock Fox Triad.

If you do a lot of climbing during your rides, this is a great solution to make it easier to get on a full suspension bike without rocking up and down with every pedal stroke.

The picture shows the pump with a shock absorber which gives the impression that you are getting a cheap product. Even if it's not described anywhere, I still don't think you should put the product on the picture if it's not there

I haven't had a chance to try it yet. But I'm sure it's a good shock. I am writing this review to inform customers that this does not work on Specialized Stumpjumper frames. The valve is too far away and is interfering with the mount.
