Should have done it a long time ago. Much better than rubber band. Be sure to line up the bottom with the top so the bars don't slant. Works perfectly!

I am very glad that we received a large set, you will always need extra space on the boat deck for more rods. Why wouldn't anyone choose a longer set? You will not be disappointed.

I used these to replace broken bungee rod mounts on my Tracker PT175. I gave 4 stars because, like other reviewers, I think they need more stitching to keep them from falling apart over time.

Ordered a set, took it out of the box, tugged on the 14" section and the seams came undone with the elastic. Received a replacement 2 days later and the stitches don't work even when pulled. Return both sets for a refund. Include a photo of the defective replacement kit.

I have replaced my original rod holdall with a longer one to allow me to tie more rods to the deck. I have easily tied 8 or 9 rods with bait. I haven't run out of capacity yet, but I bet you can hook up 12 rods. The quality is good, the Velcro is secure. I didn't even use the shorter bar head strap. So far very happy with the purchase.
