Can't give 5 stars because of that.

I went on Ebay and bought an old Audio-Technica shotgun that works great and a Lyx Pro for $25. However, I've heard that Peter McKinnon and Curtis Judd use NTG2 (at least sometimes). Rather than not receiving any warranty, I ordered directly from Revain (rather than Revain, which voids the warranty). Bought this new one. Fake Revain mics, Rode no longer waiting for item

I recently decided to save up for my first major audio purchase, a Rode NTG3. Received it and hooked it up, I wasn't impressed, not even disappointed. But all the reviews I read, the fact that this was my first time using a pistol mic and knowing it was a $700 mic made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Well I checked something on the website. when they pasted this ad above. From the Rode website"Important information for buying from Revain in the USA. RØDE microphones are not authorized
