I bought this collar for my small (Yorkish) dog so he wouldn't hurt himself when we go for a walk after work. However, I see absolutely no reflectivity from this collar when I take it out at night. It's just a cute green collar. Also, I would appreciate if the loop you attach the leash to was bigger. After I put the rabies tag on him, I didn't have room to attach the leash. Perfect for our 7lb Chinese Crested/Lead mix and great color to boot. To be honest I don't think the reflective thread makes it more visible at night but it does add some shine without being flashy.
