So far so good. My dog has had this collar for a few weeks now. This is an ordinary collar, there is nothing special about it. I didn't buy it for the reflective properties - by the way, they are minimal. He didn't break. I have a smaller dog, maybe 10 pounds and about 2 feet long, slimmer and not chubby. I find the collar to be a little narrow - my husband and I both agree that we would probably prefer a slightly wider collar as our dog tends to pull at times when walking on the leash. or running, otherwise, most likely, a narrow stripe in this case will not be so convenient.
