Sharp image, great lens in low light

Beautiful bokeh and sharp subjects in every shot. It's heavy and entirely manual, so not for photographers who run and shoot.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Useless features

Wow Rokinon. Wow. in SLR camera lenses

I have a 35mm Rokinon cine lens. So I decided to order this one and give it a try. This is T2.2 as opposed to the older brother T1.5. But the build quality and the images it can deliver are amazing. I would recommend this lens to any filmmaker, regardless of budget. This is a really great lens.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Updates available

The sharpest lens I have!

This lens is a true cinema monster for my Canon APS-C DSLR. From the first photo I took I was absolutely blown away by the clarity of the image. This is my wide angle video lens. Remember that this is a fully manual (no autofocus) lens, giving you an amazingly quick course in manually focusing on moving subjects!

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Only available in white

Sharper (and slightly wider) than the Canon 16-35mm L series

This lens is much sharper and has less chromatic aberration than my Canon 16-35mm lens on my BMPC4K. It's also about what a full-frame 14mm lens will be on an APS sensor, so at 16mm this lens is slightly wider than Canon's 16-35mm L lens. If you are looking for an APS lens equivalent to a 16mm full frame, I would recommend the Rokinon 10mm APS lens.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Blank

Surpasses Tokina 11-16!

So I bought this lens for several reasons. 1. I already had versions 24, 35 and 85 of Cine and needed a decent color and contrast set for the video. 2. I was unhappy with the margin of beating Tokina 11-16 on my BMCC MFT.3 version: It's faster than Tokina. I have to say that I am very happy with this lens. It outperforms the Tokina in every way from T2 to T8 (that's all I shot) edge to edge and then center for sharpness, and it has a longer focus travel! Which is welcome if you make videos like

Pros
  • Great for a small home
