Unreliable Motion Detector for Electronics

Based on my experience, this motion detector is not reliable. I had it installed for my home security system and it keeps triggering false alarms, which is a huge inconvenience. The only good thing about it is that it is easy to install. However, that doesn't outweigh the frustration and inconvenience of false alarms. I won't be purchasing this brand again.

Great Rex PIR for Security and Surveillance

Works great. Easily configurable with DIP switches for failover/protection. Terminal block for wires. Easy to install
