Enchanting Rolife Wooden Puzzles: Ferris Building Delight Review

I had to ask for a refund because these parts were so thin and brittle that no matter how careful I was with them when removing them from the board and trying to attach them , broke the steering wheel. I was really unfit. But I wrote to the company and they said they knew about the problem with this model and refunded my money.

During the lockdown I have done many different woodwork and it takes a lot of time and if you follow the instructions they are very helpful. It's more of a show than a move, but they turned my office into a showroom! They bring WOW to family and friends when they see them! Some of them are more difficult than others. So if you are a beginner, just start and work your way up. Enjoy!

This project meets my needs. At first I was concerned it would be too difficult for me to complete this alone, but the instructions were very clear and I completed the task on my own and in less than two hours. I broke off a piece or two, luckily not cleanly, which helped when I super glued them. The glue never affected the operation of the ferris wheel and it was assembled successfully. Hours of entertainment. Not very difficult but enough to please. I recommend being extra careful when separating small parts from wooden boards. Ferris wheel spokes and round bearings were particularly fragile, broke easily, and did not come with spares. Once completed I used Elmer's wood glue to secure the base and supports. It really helped his stability. Also, I didn't like the monotonous melody the winding mechanism played, so I just unscrewed its sound bar and threw it away. Now it spins…

My grandfather and I ordered this to work together. ! cool However, once we opened it up and started to *carefully* pull the parts out, we had 3 mishaps. They are very fragile and not difficult to break. I immediately emailed Robotime asking for replacement parts and it took almost 2 weeks to get a response. If you break your parts and are patient enough to wait, a replacement will come from China. That's not very good and takes away the tension and the overall impression. Please make the parts

I have made many wooden puzzles and have never broken so many puzzle pieces that do NOT have repeating parts. When I broke my first piece I thought it was ok, there must be duplicates if it broke so easily. When I found there were no duplicates, I glued the pieces together and added small supporting strips made from leftovers. Everything was fine until I went to the next step with the same thin pieces and they broke again. I was so upset that I put it aside. Haven't contacted the manufacturer…

This set contains several sheets with many details. If it interests you, it's a good buy. I tried another carousel set with colorful cars. But the instructions were in Chinese. The Chinese kit had a section showing the identification of each part, but that was an extra step and the diagram was confusing. This kit has clear instructions. The wood is on the thin side, but if you cut through the pieces on the back, the burrs will be cleaner. You don't have to polish much. I couldn't find a punch…
