Use this with 80 Mill Kill matte sound. These small metal rollers have a good grip and are pressed into the metal. Two sizes helped. They really grab, kill Matt and the President from the columns. Definitely worth the money.

Essential when installing soundproofing materials to suppress vibration and rattle. You can't do without one of them, and if you build more than one machine, it pays off. Well done, powerful, irreplaceable!

I used one of the urethane rubber casters a few years ago. Unless I was pressing straight down, the footage was skipping. Teeth bite into it and work great. Much easier to get up in tight corners and inside doors. Wooden grips are also great for some car bellows that are too narrow for even a small roll. Better than rubber grips.

I didn't like using them as the grooves and ridges on the rollers end up cutting into the thin metal foil on the front of the sound absorbing material. The rollers must be at least smooth. I have chosen an excellent Revain product called the Commercial Grade Boom Mat Placement Roller, 2" Width". It is smooth and has a wooden roller. Much better product.

I was hesitant to buy metal rollers instead of plastic rollers. After using them all over my machine, I'm glad I invested a little more. They are very heavy and have a high quality bearing. In addition, the grooves on the rolling surface ensure excellent traction and make already rolled areas clearly visible. A smaller roller is also important for hard-to-reach places such as the center console or pillar.

I've had some time with these rollers and only have one small complaint. The protruding end of the bolt is a bit sharp, but that's not a problem. The ends of the knobs are good for smashing the muffler in sharper corners, the large roller is great for large flat surfaces, and the smaller one works well in tighter spaces. I put a few drops of motor oil on the bearings to be safe, but that's probably not necessary.

I like that the reel has "teeth" but the screws holding it to the sides keep the reel from being pressed against the wall about half an inch. So I needed another tool to deal with it. I saw some other casters were the same but without the studs/screws on the sides. Also, I didn't use the larger of the two rollers at all. It didn't allow me to apply enough pressure.
