Excellent material! fits hoses, lines and fittings

I bought this along with an ISO flare tool to replace a couple of leaking brake lines on my 2006 Dodge Durango. This soft but strong and corrosion resistant hose bent very easily without a special bending tool and was easily flared with an inexpensive ISO flare tool I bought at the same time from Revain. I have no doubt that this tube will long outlive the rest of the car. This is my first time using the Nicop and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has difficulty bending and expanding…

Does the job without drama!

High quality hose replacing the original rusty lines. This copper-nickel brake line tube is actually an improvement over the Original Equipment steel brake lines as it will not rust in the traditional sense and is VERY easy to bend to form the correct reverse double flares. It comes carefully packaged with lids on both ends and a small desiccant bag to absorb any moisture in the plastic film. Looks very neat, professional and durable under the car instead of rusty lines and the Psi value is…

Old and new in the automotive industry should try

First time using copper nickel tube, first time bending the tube with a tube bender and it was easy. I had no problems with this hose. All bent, installed and tested in one day, solved this problem for the first time! Luckily some things get better with time and this hose hasn't given me any of the problems my dad used to worry about (bends easily, difficult to make tight bends). , trouble making straight cuts, difficulty making quality inverted petals for good seals).

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • Good but not great

Great value for money, easy to use

As others have said; This pipe is very easy to work with. It bends easily without tools and does not kink. I dare say that this alloy is as easy to bend as copper tubing. Makes nice double flashes. A previous reviewer stated that he found inconsistent wall thickness; That doesn't seem to be the case with my role. Just by looking, you can see that the wall thickness is just under 1mm, which is about the advertised thickness of 0.028 inches. BTW, the flare tool I use is a titanium 3/16 double…

Love these lines so far

I live in the "Rust Belt" and needed to replace the rusty, worn out rear brake lines on my 1996 Chevy Blazer. Please note that I am a "backyard locksmith" although I grew up with a father who has been in the automotive business his entire life and I know a great deal about auto restoration through experience and learning from others. Last year I used the infamous Polyarmor steel hoses sold at major auto parts stores to replace the fuel hoses on them and noticed that they already looked like…
