Worked great. Fits spares

I bought this big reel because we work with C10 all the time. My 15 year old son learned how to make flanges and splice brake hoses. He could bend easily without bending the line and it was very easy to make flanges. This is a good product for the money. Only time will tell if he survives. Installed on my 1968 GMC 1500 V8 with long bed, 6 lugs, drum brakes.

This material is the best

This material is the best. Easy to cut, easy to bend and very easy to flare out. Besides, it will never rust. I will never use a steel brake line again. The 25 foot spool was more than enough to replace all of the line going to the rear of my truck and I added a stainless steel brake line guard to protect it from dirt and abrasion where it wasn't attached to the frame .

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Poor guidance

Ease of use and anti-corrosion

I bought 3 reels to replace the brake lines on my motorhome. This is the same as the NiCorr tube available at most auto parts stores. With the pipe straightener it was perfect and ready to use at any time. It was easy to work with, yet strong enough to apply and meets all DOT specifications. Why try to work with something like stainless steel when you can get the same durability with something that's easier to work with?

  • This is amazing

Worked well and succeeded first time

Wrong diameter ordered on first order which was quickly corrected at The Stop Shop. For the first time and hopefully for the last time double flared brake lines. It took me a lot more than I could buy at local dealerships to get from the front to the back of the old Wagoneer. Since then I have driven this car many times with no problems. If I'm having trouble with other vehicles I'll definitely check out what The Stop Shop has to offer.

Great brake lines!

I bought this for a 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty. My brake line rusted and I lost my brakes. along a winding mountain road in the dark! Luckily I have a manual transmission and was able to crawl home. This line bends fairly easily and I know it won't rust in the future. My only suggestion is that you should buy a QUALITY flaring tool. I tried several crimping tools from different manufacturers until I found one that worked. Not all are made equal.

  • Easy to use

Easy to bend into the desired shape

This copper-nickel tube is much easier to bend than a steel brake tube, giving it a complex shape. No matter what type of flare you need on the ends, I have found this copper-nickel tubing to work extremely well with a variety of flaring tools. The photo shows a tube I made by copying a damaged original. For most bends, you can bend it with your fingers without the help of a bending tool. However, for tight bends you may need a bending tool, especially for 1/4 pipe (note the pipe in the photo…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some little things

Needed to replace all the brake lines on my truck. I wasn't expecting this, but it's nice not to have that insecurity deep down and wondering if the brake lines would snap the next time you hit the brakes. They are so easy to bend by hand that even short, tight bends are child's play. I'm sure stainless steel would look better, but trucks are built for performance, not nice brake lines. It's also easy to burn them. I was curious how they would look after a while, they take on this blue-green…

good replacement brake line

I started replacing the brake line on my truck as the original line broke. At first I bought them at a local auto parts store but they were quite expensive. Once I realized how much rope it really takes to do all the work I started searching and found this product much cheaper than the local store. It can be processed very well for bending and expanding the brake line. I was able to reuse the ends of the tubes from the original lines, mainly because they were hard to find. My truck is a 2001…
