The pads fit my 6 year old but after about an hour of use and maybe a few drops the knee pads start to tear and fall apart, I would choose a different brand. I bought pads in store but thought this product review might be helpful. You get what you pay for.

I really like this product. It fits my 6 year old son, has room to grow and looks cool. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was that the red "eyes" in the knee pads fell out VERY easily. I was able to reattach them with a piece of tape but I don't think I should do this within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Knee pads fail after 3-4 uses. The plastic protective covers can be easily detached. They are riveted to a very thin polyester material that tears too easily. It appears that other versions of the same brand of overlays are sewn on and this is how these overlays should have been constructed. Elbow pads will probably be fine as they don't hit the ground very often. And the wrist pads work well and will likely last a long time. I will attach the knee pads by drilling holes in the plastic covers…
