Perfect for my son: Hockey

This is a great way to avoid smelly (possibly Covid-infested) locker rooms. Get ready at home and go ice skating. A must have for this busy mom who is always in a hurry to get the players to the rink on time.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Only available in Black

They are awesome: Team Sports

Well made, easy to get on and off the skates and fully adjustable from kid to adult size. My son runs boys 2 skates and they will work just as well when he wears adult skates as they do now so we'll keep them for years (unlike his skates!)

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • A little wrinkled

For everyone whose protective roles are broken, .

If you have broken wheels, you should read the instructions before use! The rear wheel must be directly under the heel, otherwise the protection will break right in front of the rear wheel. I've seen so many parents train with misplaced guards. Once adjusted they should last for years!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • So far, so good

Super Loafer - Ice Hockey

I bought these for our kids last Christmas but they didn't use them until this fall so they could skate from the car to the rink's locker room. As you can see there is little wear on the wheels. Our 70 pound eight year old daughter tripped and fell and both broke in two. The fall wasn't hard, but her toes touched the ground and that was it. Super screwed up.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I'll be silent

One broke a wheel and the company agreed to send a spare wheel.

Bought two pairs. One broke a wheel and the company agreed to send a replacement. Now the back strap is loose. When I went to the Rollerguard website to purchase a replacement ($6.95 for two, which seems like a good deal), I was blown away by the almost $17 shipping cost! I recommended Rollerguards to all my daughter's teammates but now I'm not so sure.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Safety

Great for changing outdoors due to COVID19 restrictions

We bought these skates for our 7 year old hockey player and they are great. During the pandemic we had to get dressed outside and parents couldn't come over to help get dressed or tie their skates. Our son can dress up outside with his skates and then skate inside with these roller skates and then get back in the car while still protecting his skates. A little pricey but overall a good buy.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

2nd purchase, same edition

My son LOVES them and we have had a lot of feedback on their comfort. One of the rubber bands broke. We bought a second pair and 1 month after her second strap broke. It wasn't too much of a problem as we still had one from our previous purchase. Well about 6 weeks later another one broke. It would be great if they only sold the rubber part as the reel part is still in great condition. **Update added a star because I found cheap replacement parts on the company website**

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Some little things

Great idea, bad design.

It was a great idea and I loved it for a few days, my son was able to use it. Our issue with them is that the strap holding the wheel guard to the skates came loose after about 3 uses. The wheel rubbed against it, breaking the belt in half. I couldn't find a "replacement" strap online so I replaced it with a regular skate guard strap. They also broke in half after two uses - only the bottom this time (because they're not made for in-line skates I think). So now I have a new pair of roller…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Torn in half - Very disappointed especially in times of Covid

My 9 year old daughter wore them for a couple of years but only used them this season as she couldn't get dressed at the rink. . I would say she has been consistently using them 3 times a week for the last 2 months until one last week broke completely in half. I'm very disappointed, especially as she needs them now more than ever since I can't go to the rink to tie her skates. My 12 year old hasn't had any problems (yet) but doesn't have to wear it as often either because he doesn't have as…
