It tastes great; fine

I have a Hashimoto, so I don't eat dairy or gluten. It was nice to see an option that gave me what I needed. Expensive but worth it so far. Hoping more options pop up, so maybe it won't be that expensive? But maybe there's a reason why it's so expensive. In any case, it helps me, so it's worth it.

Love the product, hate the price!

I was very happy to find a protein powder that didn't contain any of the things I can't eat - whey, gluten, soy, pea protein/beans. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. (I have vanilla.) It also mixes well in my shaker if I don't add ice. However, I just can't get over the fact that it costs me almost $100 a month. That's over $1,000 a year for protein powder! If the cost of doing this is really that high, that would be understandable. Although I can't imagine it costing that much.

However, while researching protein powders, I realized the importance of independent testing to ensure they are free of heavy metals (lead, cardamom, arsenic, mercury, and amino acids). Rootcology has not responded to any of my emails or calls. There is no mention of third party testing or transparency regarding the…
