You can melt chocolate and watch your favorite YouTube video without worry. Also, the little pan comes out and you can squeeze out the chocolate to make a giant flat disc. You have to work hard if you want to get burned. If you can do this, ask your mother to help you next time.

I love this melting pot. I usually hate heating chocolate in the microwave or melting chocolate with a double boiler. I would stay away from recipes that ask me to melt chocolate. Now with this melting pot I can make these recipes and not be afraid of the chocolate burning or scorching.

I used it twice. Once with almond bark and another time with melting Wilton candies. This is very handy when it comes to my multitasking problem. I was able to make the caramel filling while my chocolate was safely melting. It's cute, safe for my 3 year old, easy to clean and just plain fun!

It took some time for the candies to melt and then no longer be liquid. Every now and then I had to stir it to make it smooth again. Also surprising was that the melted candy solidified at the bottom of the bowl and I had to scrape it off to mix it with the rest. I would recommend Nutrichef which works much better.

Great tool for making candy. Just made hazelnut eggs for our daughter because she can't make peanut butter. Dipped them in milk chocolate. If you heat the pan for 5 minutes as recommended before using, the chocolate will melt slightly. Once it melts, stir occasionally to keep it smooth. Use leftover chocolate to dip some pretzels or sticks. Stupid name "Nerds" but good product!

I bought this to melt chocolate when making cake pops. I was hoping this would help me avoid having to constantly reheat melted chocolate in the microwave when making cake pops. Unfortunately, this pot does not solve this problem. It comes with two temperatures, melting and heating. Melting mode will burn or melt your chocolate if you're not careful.
