The juicer arrived very quickly in New Zealand - less than a week. The first time I used this juicer it juiced fine but smelt of burning. I turned it off and took it outside and black smoke came out of it. I have contacted Revain, who told me to contact Hurom. I have contacted Hurom USA three times and had no reply. Unit worked for 2 months, but recently I'm seeing sporadic issues. if this is user error (will know in about a month), I will update review to 4-5 starts, because the unit works nice when it is working. There is some kind of sensor that makes the unit work when the assembly is placed onto the main body.As far as effort involved, you have to somewhat prep the fruit and veggies. This thing is amazing. Its manual is all encompassing and fully delineates everything you need to know to keep it running like a champ. It juices everything from ginger roots to jalapeno to apples and oranges. The pulp comes out fully dry. I was amazed the first time I used it.

Thus is my second low speed juicer and it is fantastic, much better than an older Hurom model. I use it every single day making juices from vegetables (carrots, kale,.) and fruits (oranges, apples, grapes,.). Again, I love it

nice juicer. its quiet and easy to clean. Wish I could put the items in the dishwasher when I am in a hurry, but the drying stand helps keep it in a small space for drying and it doesn't take too long to clean. I really like to make the almond milk, it is really great for that, it is so easy and much less expensive and you can make it how you like it.

I bought this specifically to make soy milk for tofu. I watched a YouTube video for how to make from scratch. For the first batch I made I used a Blendec and cheese cloth. The second batch I made was using the Hurom cold press and it's was so much more pleasurable to prepare soy milk using this method over a blender. This was basically the only cold press company who seemed to do a good job for soy milk and I'm so happy I made this purchase.

I love this slow juicer! Granted, it’s the only slow juicer I’ve ever used but I use it everyday. You learn with time which order to juice your vegetables to avoid pulp buildup in the auger. I like to use the finer blade to avoid pulpy juice so yes, my auger does need to be emptied if I’m juicing excess celery, etc.

I love this juicer! Best one I have ever owned. It's quick, quiet, and easy to clean. Well worth the investment! The juicer can be difficult to clean thoroughly, as some parts are tricky to access or remove.

The machine received with a defected top, after contact the Hurom office in Torrance, I went to the office and got the machine tested found the magnet is gone on the top cover, they replaced a new machine at the site. Great customer service, although this is a great machine worth five stars but the QC should be improved, this is the reason I only rated four stars

Love love love my new juicer! It’s sleek design looks great on my counter, I’m obsessed with celery juice and carrot juice, I make soup with the leftovers, and the clean up is so easy! There are about 5 pieces that just need to be rinced off. When making celery, since it’s a very fibrous vege, it needs to be cut small so the strings and get expulsed. Any juicer you buy will be this way. I can not say enough about this juicer! I now love cleaning out my refrigerator to see what I can juice next!

Best juicer on the planet. Makes almond milk and we can use the pulp to make bread! Sturdy, easy to clean and surprisingly VERY quiet for a juicer.

What a disappointment ;( This is my first juicer and yet not only it came later than the guaranteed delivery date but also the nozzle lid was broken. Thankfully it's not a major part and the juicer performs well -- 1 more star for that.

This unit is quiet, attractive, so safe to use, so easy to clean. It took a few uses before I became completely familiar with how the pieces fit together, but now I'm set. It arrived more than a week early and I am amazed at how much juice it extracts! I've owned 2 Acme Juicerators, and the Hurom is hands down better juice quality, easier to clean and store. I'd recommend this awesome juicer in a second!

I like the look and the color choices, I didn't like when I juiced apples it hesitated and the apple slices got stuck and made a loud sound that I needed to shut it off. It juiced carrots so nicely and they are harder, the apples was an issue. Also, it was hard to disassemble after I was done with juicing, I could not twist the top off as it was so stuck with the fruit and veggie grounds. the grounds also got stuck in the motor part.

I was really excited about this but was asim disappointed when it broke on its 3rd use. I was juicing carrots when it started to smell burned. Turned out the machine was broke and when called HUROM, they said it’s not under warranty since they(hurom) sold it to this amazon seller. I returned mine got me Nama J2 instead

I really like this juicer - it is very quiet and it produces some really good juices. It works with fruits and vegetables and it is very easy to clean (less than 5 minutes). The juicer comes with two filters and other accessories for making sorbets and tofu. The sorbets are really good (so far I've tried frozen bananas + strawberries + kiwi). Great blender, powerful, unfortunately it's sometimes difficult to put back together after cleaning, ugh. The slow juicing process can be less convenient for those who need juice quickly or on-the-go!

I purchased a refurbished one because a new one was so very very expensive. But even still I pay $375 for the refurbished one. It does a terrible job, and is in sanely horrendous to clean. Mine worked for exactly 2 1/2 minutes before it died, and I spent an hour cleaning out what little tiny bit of Carrot was inside and it still wouldn't work. Also the mouth opening to feed your vegetables into this about the quarter of the size of my old fashion Breville. Don't waste your time on this one!

Absolutely LOVE this juicer. After getting overwhelmed by so much information out there about various juicers—I decided to purchase this one. No regrets! It's easy to use, the clean up isn't as overwhelming as it seemed at first. Highly recommend it. My mom recently bought this exact model and loves it as well.
